The Young Company, Theatre for Children and Young People WINTER DRAMA SCHOOL, program one is starting on Monday 28 June through to Thursday 1 July and program two starting on Monday July 5 through to Thursday July 8 from 9am to 3pm at 169 Bunda St, Cairns City (opposite Cairns Central).
TYC Winter Drama School will see children and young people participate in 4 full days of creative play where they will develop the essentials of stage performance through improvisation, role-play and characterisation with Tony DiTerlizzi’s SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES during program one and Roald Dahl’s CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY in program two. They will also have the opportunity to explore set and costume design as well as incorporating multi-media performance elements such as sound, lighting and cinematography.
