It’s a really good idea to pack your own holiday bag with things YOU like. Mums and dads are usually worried about packing all the main things for the holiday like clothes, food, sunscreen etc etc and often don’t think about stuff to keep kids busy.

If you have these things with you it doesn’t matter if it is raining, you are traveling in a car or on a plane or you just want to ‘veg out’, these things will come in handy…so get packing!

• Books – always have a stash of them, very handy.
• Games – Uno, Cards, Monopoly, scrabble or any others you like.
• DVDs – always handy when you just want to chill out!
• CD’s, MP3, Ipod – you don’t want to listen to your parent’s music do you!
• Toys or electronic gadgets – basically whatever takes your fancy.

Now if you have this stuffed in your backpack you will never say….I’m bored!….well maybe, just to annoy your parents!
